The bearings in one of my pedals (a Look 369 I think) are rough and need adjusting. How do I go about dismantling them?

There's a lock-ring that appears to require a special tool, are these easy to get hold off? I've ceaned out Shimano pedals before, but then I could actually take it all apart.

What a coincidence. I was just browsing the web looking for a tool to service my Look pedals. I have the newer Keo Sprints, and don't know if yours use the same tool, but this is what I found.

Once the tool is obtained, which way do you turn it? Are these specially-shaped bolts right threaded? Left threaded?
