I'm looking for a "all mountain" tire, something that I can use when I am freeriding/urban assaulting, and something I can use when I am riding XC trails without feeling like I am pushing cinderblocks. My fork has a 2.4" tire clearance. So far, the Klein Deathgrip 2.3, Maxxis Ignitor 2.35, Bontrager Big Earl 2.3, Geax Barro 2.3, and a few others in the 2.3-2.5 range have caught my eye. Looking to keep it under 800g, preferably Kevlar beaded but a few wire ones fit the bill too. So far the Ignitor is my top pick because I have used the 2.1 version, and I like the high TPI casing, but I'm open to suggestions.

I just mounted up my Kenda Nevegal 2.35" Stick-E Kevlar's...blah, blah, blah.

MBAction rated them #1 fatty trailbike tire of the year last fall, so I had to try them. Lemme tell ya dude, I'm sold. These things are awesome. They sound perfect for you.

Low rolling resistance, grippy as anything, corners like mad, and enough volume to be super stable. I love 'em.

(sorry for the redundancy to those who have already read my review on them earlier today)

Those do look perfect, and I love Kenda tires, so they will be on order Monday!
