I have a schwinn impact and the gearshift for the front sprocket shifts up but not down.. i think its in the cable.. anyone know what I can expect while preparing it for the schwinn shop?? :eek:

Probably a new cable and housing. Should be about $1.99/ft for housing, $2.99 for a cable, and about $10 labor to cover install and the derailleur adjustment.
