Tuesday night thru Thursday. My Dad's getting a surgery at Jefferson. (serious, but it's elective. Not life threatening. no need to rush to the hallmark for sympathy cards. But thanks, I appreciate the gesture).

Who wants to hang out and show me the city of Brotherly Love? I've never ridden my bike around you, philadelphia. Oh...and I'll need a couch, if there's a couch to sleep on. I'll be out of the way...spending most of the day at the hospital or cruising around. All I need is a place to sleep and a bar to get a beer at in the evening. Anyone who can put me up for the night has a couch in Brooklyn waiting for them whenever they need one.

chad will be there wednesday + thursday for work.

i'm in town. always. and i think i met you at a race. you can crash on my couch, if you want. but it's kinda far removed and my roomate has a cat. just sayin'.

go to the ministy. i love that bar. it's on 5th and popular or there is the gooddog on 15th and pine i think.
also, eat at kingdom it's next to the chinatown bus (today's bus)

Tuesday is All Jam night at Chris' Jazz Cafe at 1421 Sansom. Great Music and great food and drink specials.

There's a place with an orange door on the 1100 block of Spring Garden. I hear they give a good massage at a reasonable price with or without the happy ending. I can't think of a better way to relax after a long bus ride, can you?

what time do you get in? cause taco tuesdays at tattoed mom's is fun sometimes. i haven't been there in a while...$1 tacos, beef or vegetarian, and $1.50 pabst tallboys and half off margaritas. i don't know what time it goes til, but i would be down for doin some riding around and then eating/drinking or vice versa. perhaps we could get some more BFers to join...

tuesdays some people meet at the art museum steps at 11:30 PM and ride down to 8th and washington to get freshly baked pretzels.

thursday night is thrashing thursdays. meet at the south end of love park at 10:00 PM and go on a nice little five mile ride.

i just moved back into town after living in brooklyn and connecticut, so i haven't been on either of these rides for some time now. i'm pretty sure the details haven't changed on either of them, and i will definitely be meeting up for the tuesday night pretzel ride, and tentatively will be at thrashing thursday.

I'm gonna try & catch the 7pm or 7:30pm bus. Gotta pick up my bike at track* & deposit the other bike at home. Or something like that. I haven't really figured out the plan yet. So I guess I'll be in Philly around 9.

If you want to go to the Ministry, PM me, there's a chance I will be there. Other than that, I can't be of much more help. The above are all good suggestions. (with the exception of anything on South St.)

If you haven't found a couch yet, I have a spare room you're welcome to crash in. I'm in North Philly (not far from the Ministry). You'd be woken up to a crying baby every morning at 5am, so getting up early wouldn't be a problem. PM if you still need.
