Doug Crush will once again host the Covered Bridges Tandem Weekend in Ashtabula County, Ohio. The dates are September 30 and October 1 and the rides will be centered out of Austinburg, Ohio at exit 223 on Interstate 90. This is the most northeastern county in Ohio. The area is primarily rural, very scenic and features 16 covered bridges and a number of small wineries. Terrain is flat to rolling with no long, severe climbs.
Participation is limited to 30 tandem teams and a nominal fee of $20.00 will be charged per team to cover planning expenses and services. Participants will be expected to provide or purchase their own food and make their own overnight accommodations. The Comfort Inn is the host hotel. Cutoff for reduced rate reservations is September 2.
