Hey everyone,
I'm a 20 yr. old Mechanical Engineering student at Auburn Univeristy in Auburn, Alabama. I recently purchased my first good bike (Trek 4500) about a month ago, and I love to ride. I lack knowledge in the ways and workings of bicycles but I have a thirst for knowledge that I'm sure will be satisfied here. After shopping around on the net and at bike shops around here I decided on the Trek 4500 for a good beginner's mtn. bike. Before now, all the bikes I've owned have been Huffy's or Murray's when I was around 10 yrs old so 'm pretty excited about my Trek!! I've been on 3 rides so far and I look forward to many more. Tuskeegee National Forest here in Auburn supposedly has some good bike trails, and I'm eager to try those out. My past 3 rides have been at Monte Sano State Park in North Alabama. It's near my hometown and has some great bike trails. Some of my other hobbies include paintball and computers. Well, that about does it for me. I'm looking forward to hanging out in these forums a good bit in the future!!

Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
