Wasn't sure whether to post this here or under Road;

Been interested in AEGIS - considering purchasing their Carbon cylcocross bike (Shaman)...in the midst of investigation, heard that they're offering their Aro road bike as a singlespeed now.

Sounds like that would be pretty slick (keep in mind, I'm not a Fixed Gear purist by any means...I've sold out and purchased a Giant Bowery, whatever that may mean to some of you!).

Anybody familiar with AEGIS? If so, have you been happy with them? (as mentioned - may be more of a question for the Road forum...but it's a means to an end: maybe considering a AEGIS s/s ARO :) )

I'm quite happy with mine. Board stiff, climbs like a dream, tracks incredibly well. Did I say stiff? Great vibration absorption though...
