If I get a susp. fork that is in good shape BUT the steerer is too short, Can I replace the steerer?
If so how do you go about getting a new one?
Thanks

Yes, you can get a new one. All you need to do is get the company's address, ship the crown/steerer to them and they will press in a new one.

Some early model Rock Shox such as the Mag series and Judy's allowed one to switch crown/steerer combo's by unbolting them. Some Marzocchi's allowed you to replace the steerer only as well as the crown only. However most of todays models across the board does not allow crown/steerer replacements as the stanchions are pressed in to the crown steerer. Therefore you would need to replace at once the crown/steerer/stanchions.
