Mountain Biking - short pro bikers

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

They are...simple as that. They are usually on the skinny side too. Not all of them of course, there is the odd one but that is pretty common.

Steve Peat isn't a monster...6ft tops when I saw him last year. And not very big either ;) Tall for a pro rider but no monster.
I would say most pro xc mtb and road cyclists are all under 6' and no more than 170 pounds.

Wade Boots is probably the thickest, but he's only like 185 -190 lbs max. Not sure, just guessing from seeing him. Most are very lean and cut. Must be all that jumping causing constant compression on the body keeping it from getting taller! ha ha!

What about Myles Rockwell? He's a monster....I'm 6'2" and he made me feel small standing next to him! I mean he's a beast! But also the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet. Hey when I make it pro then you all can through my name out as being one of the tall guys...ha ha ha, I'll keep dreaming
