We are always talking about how absurd it is that people need 2 or 3 ton boxes to move themselves around. Well, this was taken one step farther yesterday with a commerical that I saw for Saturn. It has people on the road ways like they would be in their car but walking. Stopping at stopsigns, leaving the huge amount of space that their would be in front of them in traffic. They even had a school bus as the driver walking and a whole much of little children behind walking too! I find this makes it so obvious how absurd cars are when all we transport around are people. I found it funny, watch out for it!

That does sound intriguing. Makes me think that perhaps I do want to own a TV after all, if only to catch the occasional gem of a commercial (so, uh, how is this ad going to promote the sales of Saturns? :p ).

They claimed that they see the people inside the cars!

I'm afraid that commercial has the opposite effect on me from the one they intend. It just makes me wish for a world without cars.

I also noticed there are no bicycles in the commercial.

I wish for one too, but it ain't going to happen.

Image there were bicycles, they would be going like 500% faster than the people! It would be such a positive ad for bicycles, they should do that!
