Dene was talking on his ride about the Paris Roubaix- and the Cobbles. French amateurs take their riding seriously and last weekend there was an amateur version that took place. Do not know anything about how much "Pave" was on this ride, but all the photos are taken on one of the cobbled sections- You think your Hard enough- Then try this on a road bike.

The Germantown, Chestnut Hill, and Mt. Airy sections of Philadelphia have miles of cobblestone streets like this. I hate riding in those sections of the city. I can't imagine racing over something like this.
Trying to race a bicycle on this surface for a hundred plus miles would reduce any NFL player to tears.
And to think I'm having problems keeping water bottles in the cages right now......I'd have to duct tape them to the bike riding on this stuff.
