Foo - I love not doing anything all day.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

School's out, so I slept in until 1:00 p.m.
I'm going for a four hour ride today, because I have nothing else to do.
But I do have a SOCOM 3 tournament to start tomorrow.
It's a quick sniping tourney, you know, the stuff that I do in the videos.
There are 800+ four man teams.
My team consists of ScRaPeD (Yay! Me!), NoToRiouS, CounTer, and /\/\r. F00t.
$50,000 USD for the winners, no prize for second.
We're seeded #1.

Thanks, d00d, but luck won't help me now, only skill.
It's a week long LAN party, so I won't get to ride as much.

I've got a friend who used to play CS for [H]ard|OCP. Made a lot of good money, and then realized he had no friends, and no life, and he didn't want to be a professional gamer anymore.
I slept till 1, which meant I missed my morning ride. Bummer, but I needed the sleep. I don't feel too bad anyway, since I've got a 14-mile MTB session with a buddy this afternoon, and that will beat the crap out of me.
I stopped in halo 2, was a lvl 41 too. I remember those days though.

I play CS: Source, too.
I'm pretty good at it, but my framerate sucks because of my crappy rig.
Just like a man to blame the equipment.

That socom game looks an aweful lot like pushing buttons. But I must say the 50 grand would be cool.

I would like to see you try to play a videogame without pushing buttons, sir.
Yeah, $50,000 split four ways would be cool.

I'm just saying I'd rather not push buttons, and instead if I was into playing soldier which I'm not, pull a trigger on a paintball gun followed by ducking or running or something. But hey, whatever turns your crank is cool.
Me, I used to love to play videogames, and I seem to have grown out of it. Again, to me its just a lot of button pushing instead of something more active. I'd much rather play and live in the same world.

Doing nothing or just not working? Because I love days where I'm not working, but most of the time I like to be doing something. ;)

I play paintball, as well.
What kind of gun do you have?
Oh, I also ride a bike for hours a day, it doesn't get any more active than that. :p

If you mean paintball gun, I don't have one. All my guns shoot lead. Like I said, I'm not into playing soldier. Not that there is anything wrong with doing so, its just not my thing. Incase you were wondering, I have shot numerous markers, including a full auto, and they are quite a bit of fun, again, just not my thing. On the other hand, I will probably be doing some simunitions training in the fall because I figure I owe it to those around me to be as skilled as possible this spring when I get my concealed pistol license.

Lead?
Are they from the civil war?
I though they didn't make lead bullets anymore.

Um, that would have been really funny if you would have shown up there ready to race! You'd have won for sure.
Can you recon the course?

If you want to pay like 2 bucks a shot, you can get frangible tungsten bullets, but 99.999% of bullets are lead. Its the cheapest way to go, and if you wash off after a long day at the range, you will be fine.

I've got a 1911, a German made Sig P220, a DSA SA58, a Vang Comped Remington 870, A Ruger 10/22, a Yugo Mauser (recently converted to 30/06 and scoped), and finaly a Yugo SKS which goes in my trunk when I'm in a neighborhood where I'm worried that my trunk gun has an above normal chance of being stolen. I am considering getting a decked out AI .338 Lapua instead of a supercharger for my car, but that is unlikely at this point.

Yeah, he knows a retired SWAT team member he met when he was on vacation a couple of years ago.
The guy let him "borrow" his Glock 18. :D
He even has a pre-ban 33 round magazine.

I very much suspect you are joking, because registered machine guns are very closely monitored by the government, and post ban machine guns can only be possesed by cops using them as property of their agency. A retired cop could not possibly legaly possess a registered post ban machine gun, nor could he sneak one out of his departments armory. I wouldn't joke like that, because if that was true you just confessed to a 10 year felony on the web.
I don't know what agency it was, but when I was much younger I looked at a bunch of gun websites on my parents computer and some idiot G-men called my house pretending they were asking this stupid questionare about my family. As is typical of government investigators, they were far to stupid to be believable even to my mom who talked to them, and she said "sorry, not interested" and hung up. They called several times, and soon after I joined some gun forums, began chatting on them, and they seemed to get the idea of who I was and let it go. I have no actual proof the government was investigating my internet usage, but it seems very, very likely.
The bottom line here is, don't say stupid **** like that on the web. It could get you into big trouble.

Would a Republican in training merely ***** smack the democrat in order to join him in doing nothing productive?
