Get something different. My brother owns an STP 1, and we both hate it. The Norco Tactik is the worst bike norco ever made, everything breaks on them, and the forks explode(this is not a maybe, it's a matter of time. It happens with ALL Manitou Stance forks).

Look at the Specialized P2's. I find that they're a lot better than the two you mentioned.

hey Jason, what mountain bikes do u think are good in the price range or $1000 to $1400? I like to do trails,dirt jump and street.

Look at the 06 Norco Manik if you're really a Norco Lover. Get a smaller size frame if you do more street/ dirt jump, don't get a frame larger than 15 ". Another suggestion would be the Norco 125.

the Norco 125 looks nice, but when i looked at the specs on norco.com the sizes were S/M, M/L.. would the S/M be like a 14''?

They're both the same size in that manner, 13.3 ". The difference is just the length of the top tube.
