The FUJI American Touring Series bikes were produced in 1984 and 1985 (and maybe 1983). The Touring Series V was the top of the series. Touring Series IV was essentually the same as the V except it had lesser components. Both the V and IV were made of Quad Butted Chrome Moly tubing and the III was Valite Tubing. The III was not made after 1984. The first digit in the serial number is the year of manufacture. I have the complete spec sheets for these bikes if you are interested.
