My wife gave me a catalog from Back Roads to choose any bike trip they offer in the United States. It's my 50th so she wanted to do something special. Who am I to argue? She wants to come of course which is great. I've wanted her to get more into biking and this should be a good way to do it.

Have any of you ever taken a trip with Back Roads? It looks pretty luxurious but I can get in about 50 miles per day in some beautiful settings. Can you recommend any particular trip. I was thinking of Vermont in September.

Vermont is beautiful for biking, I did the entire state in '99 (south to north)... but I went solo. You can't go wrong with Vermont in autumn, but there might be even better choices...like the Rocky Mts

Enjoy!

A cpuple of summer ago, while cycling in Wyoming, I met a group of Backroads riders. They sad it was a great outfit and were very happy with how their tour was going.
