Let's say, hypothetically, that I had recumbent framesets for sale. The sets would include the frame, fork, fiberglass seat & open cell foam pad & headrest, stem, OSS handlebars, idler pulley, and chain tube. They would be made out of aluminum alloy. They would be ready for 26" rear and 20" front wheels. You could have them in any color as long as it was black. Let's say, also hypothetically, that I could get these into the country and sell them for $400 each (at most). How many people would be interested in buying one?

Do they look like that actionbent you've posted? I dunno, if I was gonna spend 400 bucks, I may as well spend another 200 and get the rest of the components. Wheels especially would be worth the pre-paid price.

That is the actual frame. I can get them with the FRP seat instead of the low-end seat you see in the pic. I'm seeing if there is interest in a group (bulk) purchase.

I might be interested (50-60%) if it had the better seat though it isn't that much of a savings over an AB. How many do you need to purchase?

I need to purchase 30. There is obviously not enough interest in doing this. It's really too bad because TW-bents makes a nice low-racer that Action Bent does not sell. If the idea of buying frames in bulk doesn't fly, perhaps buying the complete low-racer in bulk might work.

I know I'd like one.

I'd be more interested in a low-racer. A better place to post this sort of idea might be elsewhere.
