I've recently been considering a new bike, and the Felt T23 came up in my search. Anybody own one and care to share your thoughts? Thanks.

Any reason the T23?
What are you looking to get from the bike?
Considering Felt's reputation as the "king of spec to dollar ratio" the T23 isn't what one would expect. Are you thinking about draft legal races?
A Cervelo soloist with clip ons should also be on your list, it is $2200 and it is a well proven machine as both a roadie and a tribike. It also has a wayyy better specs list in my opinion, no simping on the chain or cassette, plus a race saddle.

Thanks, Triguy. Here's my deal: I raced triathlons and duathlons for almost 10 years on a steel-framed Specialized outfitted with aerobars and a "forward position" seatpost. Stopped racing, but kept cycling longish distances and running for fitness and the occasional 10k. I haven't been on my bike since around 2001 (moved across country, got married, had a baby, bought a house, changed jobs a few times, etc), but want to pick it back up. I feel like it's time to retire my Specialized (purchased in - gulp! - 1989), and am trying to decide what to ride instead.
Am considering bikes up to $2k, but don't really want to spend that much (after all, I've got to justify the expense to my non-cycling wife!). I want to ride hard workouts, working up to 20 - 50+ mi. I'd like to do some centuries, eventually, and am considering a future tri. or du. So I don't want a TT-only bike - too specific for my needs, but I do want a bike that can be used for aero/TT positioning. Came across the Felt T23 (after reading on this forum all sorts of favorable comments about Felts) and wondered if it was the answer - my impression of it (from the literature) is a road bike that can easily cross over to a TT bike...but, perhaps that's just marketing, eh? I looked up the Cervelo soloist, and it seems to be marketed the same way.
I'm sure I'm overlooking a number of excellent bikes that would fit my needs, but am feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the choices. Does this description of my intentions bring up any other bike suggestions? Thanks again for your help!
