Anybody out there have long hair, and if so how does it affect the way you ride, i.e. getting in your face, obstructing proper fit of your helmet, etc.

ewww I used to have uber long hair pulled back into a pony-tail like 1 year ago, and when I rode during the hot days of summer it got all gross and stuck together from the sweat :(
but then I got fed up and shaved all my hair off and it was soo nice, it cools you off much faster. :)

Only affects the fit of the helmet. It either has to be worn way low, which lets a lot of shorter hairs get loose and in my eyes and mouth, or way high and I get some odd looks from people.

God, I hope you're not white.
Oddly... this is something I kinda think about. Whether this be a troll-post or otherwise...
I have to ponytail then wrap it all up with a do-rag (which is literally a rag I cut from a big piece of cloth) then helmet on top. The wind will DESTROY your hair, if you care about it. Which I have to. I work at a salon and commute on my bike to work during the winters.
Honestly, my helmet wouldn't fit me w/o the do rag and my hair. If I ever shaved my head, I'd need a new helmet.

mine's shoulder length, i ride with a hat on.
I've got semi-long hair now, and it seems to help keep the sweat out of my eyes. Usually around this time of the year I shave my head, but I found that the salt-infused sweat would slide down my forehead and into my eyes; now only a problem with helmet hair and overheating...

yeah now I feel like an idiot. I was just trying to get an outside opinion on the whole hair thing. guys, I bruise easily, inside and out.
Pigtails get all twisted and snarled. Pigtail braids is where it's at.

I used to have hair past me shoulders. My GF braided it into pigtails, i kept it that wat for a long time. When i cut it off i was quite happy with the change.

its more of a "what does it matter, stop being silly"
for the record, I am quite white. so white in fact, that my hair is red, and on a sunny day the parts of me that aren't farmer-tanned are blinding

a while ago, i saw a women's helmet with a hole in the center at the back for clearing a pony-tail.
i can't remember who made it though.
my hair isn't quite that long [just long enough to scrape back into a 1" ponytail if i wanted to], so i just tuck it behind my ears. the straps keep it in place after that.

Fair enough.
I apologize.
