Does'nt have to be superlight, but decent puncture protection is a must.
thanks

I'm using Kenda Quests on my R20 and and am quite happy with them. 100 psi, good puncture resistance (no flats yet) , looks good, rolls nice. A lot of recumbent folks use them and they REALLY hate to fix flats!
I'm a clydesdale and they are about as narrow as I would wont to put on these little 20 inch wheels!:)

Schwalbe Marathon Plus!! amazing tire for puncture protection... the only tire that I've tried that allows me to ride thru the thorn patches without a flat, over the last 5 months... before, I was running tires with 'Slime liners' and got flats riding thru the same areas..
