If someone gave u a Specialized P2 Cr-mo and a 06 Norco 125, and he/she said take which ever u like... which bike would u take? Just asking because i am either gonna buy the P2 cr-mo or the Norco125

Thats not fair, the Cr-Mo P2 is cheaper than the One25, you should be comparing the Alum P.2 to the One25.

In any case, I would pick any P.2 over the One25.

How do you intend to ride it? Are you getting it as a trail bike because you are short, djing or a little of everything.

I would get the cromo...

The norco 125 has better fork, wheels, tires, crank, and a more DJ specific rear derailleur. Although, the P2 cromo has better brakes, and probably a stronger frame.

I'd take the 125 just for the stronger wheels.

Wait a second... you call a Sora a more DJ specifc derailleur? Isn't the Sora a low end ROAD derailleur? I think whatever is on the P2 Cr-Mo (I think its SRAM SX-5) would be better and whatever is on the Alum P2 would be a lot better.

The forks are similar, I'm not too familiar with DirtJam forks though.

Yeah, I would still go with either P.2, preferably the Alum one.

The Sora is a road derailleur, but it's often used in trials, street, and dirt jumping because they're stiff, and small. Hard to hit on objects and work flawlessly.

Oh well fair enough that makes sense.

I'd still go with a P.2 though :p

And the fork, the Dirt jam on the 125 has 20 mm dropouts. They're a godsend over standard dropouts.

I'd still rather the 125 over the Alumium P2.

Throw in $500 more and just get the Norco 416. You will just start to dislike the 125 Frame after awhile. The 416 is lighter anyways.

Norco 125, mainly for the 20mm front dropout.

I don't understand the 20mm dropouts? What are the pro's and con's?

Beefier, more resistant, better control, heavier.

Jason222

heavier.
Actually, no.

Makes the fork a lot stiffer. Less flex. Wheel doesn't flex around as much either.
