i have a good bike now thanks for the help in erlier posts. here's some info powerd by sram index shiftin gripshift and torqe drive sys. i'd like to get some shocks for cheap the bike is a
1999 26"GT.
a reply would be nice.the best part about it is i got it used for $50.00!!! i got it from a friend that used to go to my church. he's moving soon and his parents want to have to move as little as possible!!! PS. you guys were right a good deal did come around.

Dude.....its a "26 inch GT", and obviously its rigid because it seems like he wants a suspension fork for it. $500 for a no name rigid GT? Nah.....I think he'd know what he paid for it anyway.:D

Yeah I figured the part about the wheels, but $50 still seems a little cheap... don't ya think? Well if it was $50 then congratulations =P

Leave him alone everybody. My first bike was a huffy but who the hell cares. I was riding.

Truth is, he took your ('you' in the collective sense) advice, bought a GT and not a no-name piece of crap, got a good deal (I've bought good bikes for $1. You just have to know where to look.)
Soo... he's riding! I say good for him! Besides, he'll learn the basics on a rigid bike that wont cover mistakes like suspension will.

If he's lying, then start ignoring hist posts.
