Hey

when i got my mountain bike i wanted to get some nice fenders, figured i'd take the ones off my dad's old stingray but they're rusted, made for a track bike, and rather dated so i went looking for some modern regulation mountain bike fenders and found the Topeak Defender FX and RX front and rear fenders. Says they fit most mountain bikes and they're made from a high impact nylon. Just wondering if anyone has used these fenders or has any info on this company seeming i'm sort of new to the mountain biking scene.

If those are no good perhaps someone could suggest a good pair of mud fenders.

thanks

Don't use mud fenders on a bicycle, they are not needed and they look cheesy as hell.

I like not eating mud and keeping my back somewhat clean. I only put them on when I'm out muddin' though.

I use the Topeak Defender fenders on the front when the conditions are really muddy. I personally do not like the taste of mud.
