Hey!

I have just built up my dream custom bike! But my single speed kit on it seems to slip! i really don't know what it is :'(, doe's anyone out there know what could be causing this? Because it is driving me crazy now lol! Please tell me what i can do to prevent this.

You need to be a little more specific. What exactly is slipping on the bike? Is it the rear cog that won't stay put? If so you just need to tighten it. (Take it to local bike shop if you don't have the tool). Congrats on the new build. What is it?

OP: could be the chain on the cog, could be the pawls. Prolly the first.

Maybe the rear cog is too small, or has damaged teeth..

Is the chain jumping ? Explain this 'slip' a bit better. Are you using a BMX cog is spacers on a cassette road hub?

Not sure if this is an SS mtb or road bike. Track ends or vertical dropouts with a singulator? If track ends, wheel could be slipping in the drops. May be using a quick release too. Change out the QR to axle and nuts and add a chain tensioner and you're golden. If vert dropouts, slippage could be chainstay flexing.

Very vague, but I would guess that your chain line is off or you have bad tension.
