hey all:

it has finally arrived...my iro mark v.
being my first fixed gear experience, i was pretty stoked. put it together and took her out. i have to admit...it takes some getting used to :/. i tried the skid stopping, but to no avail. i just kept getting lifted. also, is it normal to have difficulty getting into the clips? i have a hard time getting my last foot in. does it just take practice?
anyway, it's pretty fantastic, especially if you don't have to stop. i'm gonna go out tonite and practice some more.
this board has been helpful, thanks!

Just practice. Muscle memory will settle in after a few weeks and then start worrying about trick stops. Install a brake if you didn't get one. Fun times to come.

I have to ask: you're running a hand brake, right?

yes, definitely running a handbrake! i have to admit, i feel very safe with it. i used to ride m/c so it feels very natural to me, and safe.

Do IRO bikes come completely disassembled, or partly?

Also, how long does it take to get a complete bike generally?
