BMX - V-Brake Adaptor (for 451 rims on mounts meant for 406 of vice-versa)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Somewhere in the vastness of the "internets" I came across an adaptor that allowed one to move v-brake mounts for adapting from 406 to 451 wheels (or vice-versa).
It apparently moved the mounts up or down by about 22mm.
Has anyone heard of this product?
I remember the page even cited a pro rider that had it on their bike?

I did intend on posting it under BMX, someone mentioned this product as an alternative to Paul Components Moto BMX brakes (http://www.paulcomp.com/motobmx.html) which allow a person to
put 1 3/8" (mini) wheels on your standard BMX frame

I have a Twenty also, in pieces. Post your question in the Folders forum, and you'll get a response. I guess I should find out for myself as well.

Just an FYI...
Here is a (custom fabricated) version of what I was looking for:

I swear I saw of version of this for converting from 451 > 406 and vice versa...
Also there is this part for mounting 700C wheels on a MTB:

The one advangage to the part I remember is that you could mount it either right side up or upside down depending on the nature of your conversion.

I don't know if this will serve your needs, I bought a pair of this V-brake mounts a week ago on Ebay, I paid only US$10 equivalent for it. They weight 59 grams for a pair, the brake bosses are titanium.

Good luck
