My son has recently been stationed at Laughlin AFB undergoing pilot training and is interested in taking up mb in his off time. Can anyone suggest a good LBS in the San Antonio area that will treat him right?

Bike World (on Broadway) has always been good to me even though I haven't bought anything "major" from them in a long, long time...

I was in Bike World a couple of months ago. The largest selection of bikes, and the largest staff I've seen in a bike store. On a table was a model of a new store that they are planning that is about twice as big.
I usually prefer to shop in small neighborhood bike shops, but I was impressed with their selection. They also had maps available of good areas to ride in San Antonio, including at Fort Sam Houston. If I was looking for a new bike in San Antonio, they would be on my list of stores.
