I spent the past few days (viva vacation!) pulling together a map of the velospace social network: http://velospace.org/snapshot
Click a couple of times on any part of the map and it will get you zoomed in to a point where you can start to see some detail. You can also drag the map, etc.
You can zoom way in and see all kinds of neat detail on how the velospace friends system has grown. Each circle with a number in it represents a user, each arrow represents a friend connection. In all over 1500 connections were mapped.
