I'm replacing the cable housings on one of my bikes. I would like it to remain original looking which means I need to find white cable housing. I've looked at Harris Cyclery, Performance, Bicycle Classics, Nashbar and Blue Sky web sites. No luck finding new, white housing. Does anyone know who sells this stuff?
Thanks

that's a pretty good deal. Loosescrews has it as well, but at the same price for only 12 feet.

The quality of Loose Screws housing is certainly better and I have used it also, but for the average bike the cheap stuff seems to work OK.

Think I got my last supply from loosescrews.com when I ordered cables at the same time. Good stuff, just used the rest of mine on my Schwinn.

Are you particular about what kind of tape you use? I see white tape everywhere around here....

Shimano made some teflon-lined, white pearlescent cable housing under their SLR line.

It's quite nice, and as a plus, the pearlescent housing picks up your frame color just slightly, giving the housing a "tinted" appearance.

Not sure where you can get it - I dug out a set at the LBS in their big box of cables and housings - quite a few colors are available there, particularly bright florescents from the BMX era.

Take care,

-Kurt

My LBS only carries black cable housing. :( They have plenty of white tape though, which I have bought many times. In fact I'm probably the reason they keep running out. :D
