The last few days have been expensive, but worth it.

Picked up a Sunday! fork, Oddy Elementary stem, KMC Kool chain, sealed Oddy JC pedals and an Animal GLH tire.

$460, but worth it. My bike is alot lighter, and looks alot cooler.

Nice. How do you like the tire so far?

The pics are coming soon enough.

The tire is pretty good I must say, it's rated at 110 but I only have it at around 90 now, my pump burned out.

once your happy with all your parts you should think about getting a better frame.

Yeah, post some.

I think that if your going to post a new thread about stuff you just got, you need to post pics so that we can freaking see!

That happens after I get my rim, then the bike is done and I replace it with a street frame.

Sealed pedals are toooo much money for very little difference.

If I had the extra $$$ though, I can't deny that I would buy them too. haha

I picked up a pair of Ruben tires on Tuesday, but I've been too lazy to put them on. I'll just do it when I dismantle my bike for the trip to Europe.

Also, my headset is trashed, my right pedal needs replacing, and I'm fairly certain that my right crankarm is going to snap soon, so I'll be bringing an extra one with me.

Is ody going to warranty your crank arm if it snaps? I saw you saying something about it on bmxboard.

I don't even care. I've had it for three years, and it's taken a lot of abuse.

My cranks are aluminum, and from 2 days of grinds them and my dropouts are kind of torn up. That's not even doing pedal grinds on purpose, but I hit the right arm on the ledge a few times. I don't expect they'll last long once I try pedal grinds..

pedal grinds are a fairly easy trick to get dialed so i wouldnt worry too much

The Demolitons I'm Assuming??
He has a Specialized i beleive.
So probly not.

My Primo Hollowbites have lasted pretty long, they havent seen much abuse (i rarely have pegs on, and dont really do pedal grinds outside of the skateparks forgiving skatelite).

The only complaint is that they creak and make noise because they are hollow, and i have check several times and there is nothing wrong with them, its just since they are hollowed out or something...

ive had a change of heart recently and i now prefer profiles to hollowbites. im still not really sure why but i think its because they look alot cleaner and more simple

They're some Truvativ cranks that were meant for downhill mountain bikes, I guess Specialized made a big deal with truvativ and figured they'd just use them on their BMX bikes too. They're not terrible, they do stick past the pedal thread a little farther than I like and sometimes catch my pants on rollbacks though.

I hate that, becuase every time i end of hitting my head on the ground, or hurting myself, and ripping my pants!

The breaks stem and cable color don't look to bad with the color the frame is.

Yeah, I was going to say that too, they don't look like profiles to me.

They're profiles from (I think) 1997, they're bloody old and ready to quit.
