Hello there!
I have an original pair of Mavic Ksyriums. I'd like to replace all the bearings. I'm wondering if anyone is aware of instructions on the web somewhere on how to do it? Also, does anyone know what the bearing numbers are for the front and rear bearings? Thanks.

I have not seen the breakdown online. Pretty much you remove the cap on the adjuster side then unscrew the adjuster, holding the axle with a 5mm wrench from other side. Then tap the axle out. Slide the freehub body off first on the rear, the pawls should stay on it but watch for them to fall out.
As for the bearings, the last time I tried to get some, the only place I could find them was Mavic. I got the numbers off the bearings and Quality did not stock them.

Did you try one of the industrial supply or bearing supply houses like McMaster-Carr? If you have the bearing size number, they should be able to match them. After all, Mavic doesn't make bearings, they get them from one of the big manufactures like SKF or Timken so they should be commercially available.

No, I just tried the guys we usually get bearings from. For me, it is faster to get stuff from a bikewholesaler or the maker rather than going thru McMaster, Grainger or one of the local bearing wholesalers. The bearings would probably be cheaper thru a supply house altho I did get some, for an old Hugi, from a local wholesaler that were pretty pricey.
I downloaded some instructions from the Mavic website. If you can't find them any more, PM me and I'll email them to you.
