I have a nice efficient commute of about 9 miles. It is a safe efficient route, perhaps too efficient.
My current route from home (Hammond, IN) to work (South Holland, IL) is something like this:
Start westbound on 150th in Hammond,
Left turn on Calumet Ave.
Right on Michigan St.
Left on Sohl Ave.
Right on Willow Ct.
Left on StateLine
Right on State St
State St becomes Dolton Rd
Dolton Rd becomes 142nd St
Left on S Indiana Ave
Right on 154th St.
This route has fairly light car traffic and most of the roads are easy on the tires.
I would like to find a couple of good routes of different lengths (perhaps up to 20 miles).
Anybody who has knowledge of the area, I need help finding longer routes.
