How about an assist on installing / adjusting cleats on Shimano SPDs. I've done it successfully in the past guided by the instructions that come with pedals. My wife's new Cannondale T2000 came equipped with a pair of Shimano SPD 'clones'. It did not come equipped with the instructions :( and frankly I just don't remember much more than positioning the cleat 'below' the ball of the foot. Any help a little more specific than that would be greatly appreciated - Thanks!

Start with the mid position, with cleat axis aligned with axis of shoe, and adjust for personal preference. Some shoes may need trimmed for clearance to facilitate easy entrance/release. Make sure cleats are tight enough.Tighten once, let set and then tighten again. If too loose, the cleat can roate on the shoe and you cannot unclip. Best to test one foot at a time.No way for you to make the final adjustments for her.
