With the urging of my Seattle-based daughter (an avid biker) and a desire to get into batter shape, this 50-something has just taken up biking. As many miles as I would ride on my motorcycle each week, I just wouldn't lose any weight. How do ya figure?
So I am giving the other kind of biking a try and so far so good. I have a Bianchi Eros, and although I have not yet strayed very far from home, I think I am really going to like this! Getting used to the equipment (shoes and shifting primarily), traffic (where I feel much smaller than I did on my Honda VTX 1800 R), and body adjustments (as you might guess where). Look forward to learning from the wealth of information on this site.
