Let us know how you like the platform Times. I've been considering getting a pair.

I have just installed them.

They are relatively light.... 959s weight 178gr
Alliums weighted 219gr.
Z-Control 260gr. But the Zcontrol are rock friendly...they wont pop apart when hit hard. Single cast alloy cage inspires confidence. I will ride them tommorow and try to learn how to clip and unclip since they are my first mtb pedals.

Just remember some people learn clipless quicker than others.

And some don't ever learn at all ;)

Dont worry about it. I started off with clipless pedals, and to this day I havn't had a serious fall or injury that I could blame on the pedals. Sure I've flew like a hird over the handlebars a few times but nothing that wouldn't have happened if I was using platforms.

Never mind then, there's a guy with the same name as you on Altimas.net. It's all you ever wanted to know about and more for Nissan Altimas.
