I offered this guy $750 for this bike. It's full ultegra with CXP23 rims and ultegra hubs. It's the 2000 Specialized Allez Comp. Anybody here own this bike or have any experience with this bike? From the pictures it seems like the bike is in IMMACULATE condition. Any advice?

Joe: I tried a 54 Allez, a 52 Allez (see classifieds forum), and now this is a 50 Allez. This BETTER fit!!!

Well in my experience a shimano 105 equipped bike lasts over 30,000 miles. Most used bikes I have seen have less than 5,000 miles on them. That means they have 85% of their wear still on them. The bike you are looking at probably retails at something like $1,600. So at $750, it is a pretty good deal assuming of course that it fits you and it is appropriate to your purposes.

that is one sweet bike.
a 50cm is a small bike maybe you can find that bike in lbs and try
it I think the price is a little high (just a Little) check to see how
you feel when reaching for the handle bars that is my worry with a that size of frame good luck.. Agian if it fits, its a great bike
