I just laced up a front and rear set of Velocity Aeroheads, ultegra 32 hole hubs with Wheelsmith spokes DB14, 2.0mm-1.7mm-2.0mm, 3-cross pattern.

Now the questions with respect to tension, using the park tm-1 tension meter:

Do I select the tension value using the 2.0 column or the 1.7 column?

How many kiloforce units do you recommend, ie, what deflection reading do you suggest?

Not sure what tension is recommended for those rims, but you'll want to read the values in the 1.7 column of the conversion table. You're measuring the tension toward the middle of the spoke, so that's the diameter you should be referring to.

+1 on using 1.7 column of table

Regarding tension, you should email velocityusa (google). I did that for my Deep Vs, and they said 110kgf for a 36H rear and 100kgf for a 32H front. They replied w/in 1/2 an hour.
