Hello! currently recovering from a crash at china camp in Marin. 6 stitches on my knee  now i have free time to read forum. :)
hi there, 6stiches. i hope you are recovering well. i've never to been to china camp. in fact, i have only passing knowledge of its location and existence from maps. but your post prompted me to do a quick google search, and i may stop by the park sometime in the future. as familiar as i am with the bay area's geography, it's always a surprise to come across gems like that.
i only recently made it to marin by bike--to the headlands via the golden gate, actually. a friend and i decided the fog would provide a welcome respite from the heat of the inland east bay, so we set off from embarcadero BART and made our way along the northern waterfront to the bridge and into the headlands as far as battery 129. (boy are those winds rushing around the towers something else  .) as i continue to improve my stamina, i might someday make it up to san rafael and back.
btw, i'm another BF newbie. i decided to take the plunge and sign up after lurking for over six months. actually, it felt like i *was* a member of BF--just without posting privileges :p
