the other night i was doing some interesting reading about early australian track teams and builders and it got me wondering if my own neck of the woods has any track history... so, does anyone know anything about canadian frame builders [past or present] or early canadian track teams? what canadian city even has a velodrome? the search begins....

The london track is an awesome experience... nice track... nice people... I'll go again someday...

There's the Louis Garneau Velodrome in Quebec City, which was closed last season (only a couple years after they built it I think) because of the condition of the track. They got a grant to do repairs, but I haven't been there this year.

They're also trying to get funding for an indoor track in Quebec City - http://www.centrecyclistedequebec.com (all in French).

there is only 3 indoor tracks in N.A. and 2 of them are in Canada? where is the third?
