BMX - Removing Oryg/Gyro plate

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

How do I remove the very last plate of an Oryg brake detangler? By the last plate I mean the black piece that fits on the top of the tube where the fork is held. I am removing my detangler and putting on a standard linear cable.

Take it too a bike shop, so that way it gets done right. Watch how they do it, then you will know.

Tap out the top headset cup, and then the plate comes off. It is held inplace by the headset cup.

i love my brakes good but not so sticky so that i can slow down rather than skid automaticly
i just do trial and error when i fix new parts on my bike. i can fix my whole bike by now, although i am a little iffy on the whole headset area

Most of its common sense too...
I mean how many people do you know that coulndt figure out how to change a flat, or tell the difference from the front and back wheels...

the only thing i don't know how to do is lace a wheel. i wouldnt know where each spoke went and how tight to do the spokes, it all seems to confusing
