well im riding a old mosh and it is heavy as hell. i was looking for a bike for the street and the dirt. i want something a light and strong. I really dont want to build one so im just looking for a complete one. i like dk cleveland and the fit pro. im just looking to see if they would be worth something or if im wasting my money. any help would be great.

I ride the fit pro and it works fine for me, but it all depends on who you are. Weight, height, age, amount of cash available.

You are a skinny fella. You'd probably like a bike with a toptube around 20.75 or 21. Look into the WTP Darkness which is on sale at danscomp right now for $375.

Find something in your price range and buy it.

What a great freaking idea!

So shut up and find something.

I'm 5'11 and I'm happy with a 20.5" TT. I'd actually like something a little shorter when I buy a frame, but not with a super short rear end.

Although for dirt you probably do want something a little long.

you do realise that you were just saying that he would be better with a longer top tube whereas you also suggested the short top tubed wtp darkness would be good. hmmm

I said look into. You can be tall and like a shorter toptube. But, for the normal taller person, they like larger toptubes- that doesn't mean you can't suggest a complete with a shorter one.

No, as soon as you get on it the seat will turn into a *****, come alive and start stabbing you in the ass.

So you have had a ride on one then?? Did they make you buy it or just clean it after that?

No, I just watched Richard Simmons ride it, he seemed to enjoy it.

It looks like the frame on that bike isn't full cromoly.. the one next to it in danscomp called the Addict is though.

Haha

What problems do you get if its not full cromoly... just weight?

when you mix metals in a fusion process(welding) they dont hold together as strong as a single material weld. i hated welding class but i actually learned a lil bit, this was only meant to reinforce and put a point to what lunchbox said

Yes, in one form or another. Companys do different things to it to make it stronger, but freestyle frames are chromoly.
