Guys,

I have a chance to buy Santa Cruz Superlight frame (for my second bike - I live in two cities) - the price is awesome - nearly close to US retail price, normally in Poland due to taxes and other stuff you have to pay 50% more.

Anyway, did any of you rode on Superlight, I read the opinions at mtbreview - they were in general good or very good. I need it for XC 2 hours rides (before work) in the forrest - it is very flat here.

Any one who rode Superlight?

Regarding previous post....about Kona Explosive....
I had Kona Kula 1995 and half for 8 years - great bike, maybe not as sexy as Cannondale but perfect geometry, very light and very good price.

I haven't ridden it, but I have heard a tonne of good stuff about it. Try to get the shop selling it to let you take it for a spin get a feel for it. You also might check out their new virtual pivot point bike. It is supposed to have uncanny bob-elimination, although I guess that's not a serious concern since you said it is flat over there.
My opinion: if it's a great price and it feels good to ride, go for it.

Price is indeed great - but i can't test it as the distributor is 400 km south of where i live - so would be though to check it

i also heard a lot of good stuff about VPP, but i decided to have superlight - proven design, lighter and i like how it looks like (I have to fall in love in bikes, eheheheh)
