i ride a black lagger and i nearly got all the parts i want on my bike. what tricks can you do, and any favourite riders?
started in '82
stopped 3 years ago after complete burnout
started again 6 months ago.
I like dirt, ramps, street and flat. I never considered my self anything but a guy that rides a bmx bike.
my favorite riders are the ones that look like they are having a fun time when they ride.
I currently ride a macneil heaton with four pegs and two brakes and a gyro and a freewheel. I don't ride enough flat to warrent a freecoaster and can still do plenty of rear wheel scuff tricks, forwards and backwards.

I just ride flat and my favourite style of riding is rolling tricks. there are a lot of riders that i respect but i really think Ed Nussbaum is cool as i really like his style. i only have a front brake so i like front wheel tricks the best.

My favorite rider is Day Smith, and I love front wheel and rolling tricks. My favorite is a simple squeaker, its easy, but when you can do them down hills, its fun as hell, especially when you see peoples faces as you roll by on just your front wheel going backwards :D
im pretty new to flatlanding and i was wondering if u could give me any tips on landind a backwards steamroller? thanx

what areas are you having problems with?
i'm guessing your getting into them ok but your just having trouble getting out?
if you tell us where the trouble spots are for you, someone can give you some better tips.
just getting the tail end of the bike back around cuz i lose my balance when i try and bring my leg over cuz i bring the frame around like doing a firehydrant but i was wondering if there was an easier way to do it or any tips on doing it better the way i am.
thanks in advance for taking the time to read my post
so your standing on your front peg, rolling backwards and the frame is infront of you? and your trying to swing the back end of the frame around like a firehydrant to ride out of it?
I would continue to practice that way. if you can't do them already, learn firehydrants. then just swing the frame around, catch it with your closest foot and drop to the pedals.
if you set your pedals up first so they are parallel to the ground then it's easier to pedal away from them.
I can't really think of an easier way than that, just keep practicing them. learn trackstands too, if you can't do those yet.
for trick tips and how-to's go to www.bmxtrix.com and look at the how to section.
alright thanks for your help
