Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

The guy who sold me my Giant Iguana said the best thing about the bike is that the frame is bullet proof. Is he full of crap or can it handle 5-6 foot drops.

If you land it right you should be able to drop 10'.
I used to drops up to 6' to flat on a carbonfiber xc frame and it never failed.

I wouldn't say bullet proof...but yeah it can handle it as long as you land it ok. :)

What about aggresive XC without any drops at all? Will a descent frame be able to handle that for years without any problem? AND I MEAN ZERO DROPS.
