Hi!

I attempted to replace my Profile Design aero bars
with 3T Ahero's.

But, the shimano bar end shifters I have don't seem
to fit in the new extensions, which are apparently 1
mm smaller in inner diameter. I was (barely) able to
re-use the fatter extensions. Are more compact
shifters available?

Theres only one shimano shifter, I'm fairly sure the 3T ahero is designed for Campy. If the Profile extensions fit in the bar though that means Oval and Hed extensions also will.

I am guessing you want a simple single bend Aluminum extension which can be had for $30 from trisports.com go under aerobars and then parts or accessories and look for Oval extensions.
