Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Just a little tease of a local trail. I hope this link works. I would have made it longer but I can not upload files that are larger then this. Click on the ShortVid.

How'd ya guess that?:D
The guy who maintains this trail is constantly changing the jumps. Adding some here removing some there and trannies, well they come and go just about every other ride. I woud say that this particular jump will be about 2' highr this weekend and the tranny will also be bigger.

Hey dirtbikedude-
What type of helemet-cam system do you use? I've been looking into getting one.
Thanks,

Sudbury has some good manmade stuff that I heard about unless it has been torn down...otherwise Onterrible is good for urban if you don't get arrested :D Ottawa has some good stuff as well. In Ontario you have to do some serious travel in order to get any good riding :)

Hey Moab, we use helmetcamera (http://www.helmetcamera.com/)
I did some serching around before I bought this one (actually the wife gave it to me for x-mas). From what I found most of the cameras out there have the same picture quality and are around the same price, $250 to $350 US.
I chose this particular one because it was the only one that claimed it could be submerged up to 100' and comes with an alluminum housing that protects it when you bail (a buddy of mine has tested his on many a rock with no damage).
You can also get a remote switch that starts/stops the recorder. Most recorders though have some sort of remote switch that you can get for them. At least Sony and Cannon do.

Hey dirtbikedude: the second guy in the first shortvid wouldn't happen to be riding on a 1998 Kermit-the-Frog Specialized FSR, would he?

No. He was riding a Foes Fly. They did not advertise that color much. Now he rides a red one because the Fly has a problem of craking in the down tube. Foes set him up with a new '02 Frame and told him that the '03 will be out shortly and if he wants he can return the frame they gave him and will give him an '03. How cool is that.
