Is anyone here planning to ride the UMCA 24-hour?

I rode it last year and it was a tough route!! They've chosen a slightly different route this year and have worked on some of the "bugs" from last year's ride .... and it sounds like it'll be a really good event.

If all goes well ... I'm hoping to beat my previous 24-hour best of 442 kms. I'm shooting for 450 kms this year!! :D

I'm thinking of doing the 12 hour (sun up to sun down race). It's pretty close to me, and I would like to get another 12 hour time trial in this year. As for the 24, probably next year.

I am considering riding the 24 hour time trial event in the Texas Time Trials: http://www.tt24tt.com/. I don't know what to expect, though I hope I beat my previous one day record of 257 mi.

The ride starts in a month ... anyone here going?

How many 24-hour riders do we have here?

I am really looking forward to riding the event again this year. It's a very pretty part of the world with some darned steep hills thrown in so you can take greatest advantage of those views! And the people who run it (UMCA Mid-West) are mighty friendly and helpful.
