I'm running an old touring frame as a single speed cross frame (I know this is bike abuse)
The problem is at the rear I can only fit 28mm tyres. I had some great Vittorias in green with nobs that had gathered dust at the back of my lbs, unfortunately these tyres are now dead and need replacing. What can I replace them with? I don't think Vittoria make at 28mm cross tyre any longer, are Vredestein Campos any good.
Oh and where can I get them in Canada or US? my old lbs is in the UK.

The Tigecross tires work ok except on slick surfaces or loose mud.
