I was wondering - are you using Tri shoes or regular road shoes?

Tri

But I used road shoes until there was a sale that I couldn't pass up.

Road shoes. I can't justify new shoes plus the $35 for the Speedplay cleats.

Custom-built tri version carbon-soled Rocket 7s. I even got insurance to pay for them - I have a huge leg length difference (19 mm) and a host of other structural problems from the knees down, especially on my left side. I got the custom orthotics (from a cast done by my podiatrist) and 10 mm of extra length built into the sole on the left side.

Lake tri shoes....SWEET they are designed so that the strap doesn't get in the way of you chain and stuff...

Road shoes. I cant afford tri shoes. Between three pairs of running shoes (road, trail, flats), two pairs of mountain bike shoes (summer and winter), and road shoes, I cant afford to drop any $$$ plus cleats.

I have an old pair of Lotto shoes. I dont think they were intended to be TRI shoes, since I bought them in 1988. But it is a single Velcro strap, so they are great for Triathlon.

Have been looking at some new ones lately, my toes get numb on longer rides!
