I had Tioga Factory Extrme tires and went to the WBT Velociraptors. I found that they are great in loose conditions but on hard trails and paved trails they are slower. I don't really care for that and I'm thinking of trying out the Weirwolves also by WBT. From what I have found, they are suppost to have the same grip but better Roll resistance. Has anyone experienced these tires??

I need a true cross country tire as I ride both hard packed and loose trials. XC riding is what I do and need a tire that is fast yet has excellent traction. Something better then the Tioga Facroty Extremes in the loose, at least as good on the paved and hard packed trails. They where good here.

Thanks guys I'm learning my way as this is my 2nd season riding

I had a set of them that were used for XC and single track, I loved them! My first race with them was in extreme mud and while, I saw other riders go down, (some more than once) My bike kept it's grip. They really aren't the best loose condition or mud tire but can work well under extreme conditions. I'm considering a set of tubeless ones. currently running Panaracer fire XC pros, and Specialized S-works Fast trak's wich also work well for me. Good luck
PS. Also found the velociraptors a bit slow rolling and extreme for my terrain

I found them to be very slow. They are not the right tires for me.
