Anyone living in the upper Mid-west really should put the Root River Trail on their "must do" ride list. My Wife and I are lucky enough to live within a 3 hour drive so we ride it fairly often. 50+ miles of paved trail running next to the Root River. Some hills, mostly flat ride through Amish country. We love it. Here is a link to some picks we took on one ride late last summer.
